TRiM Practitioner & Training Instructor

Matt recently got involved with Steps Ahead Care & Support due to a traumatic incident that occurred, in which our support staff required his input as a Trauma Risk Intervention Management Practitioner. This was extremely welcomed and appreciated by all, and his ongoing support is proving to be invaluable.

Since joining our team in July, Matt has stepped up to utilise his skills in other areas to deliver specialist training to our support and office team. With 23 years’ experience in the Royal Navy as the Chief of Physical Training and having been deployed all over the globe on operations, he blends his experience to deliver high quality and professional courses. The most recent addition to Matt's portfolio is Crisis Prevention Management and is successfully delivering this course to our staff.

Occasionally Matt will pop into the office to engage us in team building games and exercises he has brought with him from the Navy, to offer some time out to de-stress. He's definitely competitive to say the least!
